Managing Stress

Setting up a "To Do List" each day with intentional meaning and purpose is one way of managing your stress levels. Think about it. If you make a "To Do List" and you are not able to complete it within the day, I'm hopeful that you put the incomplete task on your list for the next day. Analyzing your list the night before will give you some comfort as to what your next day will consist of. It's always a smart thing to do when you write down what needs to be done. It than no longer causes unnecessary stressful thoughts. This way you don't forget and a simple task doesn't turn into a disaster and even more stress, because you forgot about it or didn't complete the task.

Forgive yourself if something doesn't get done. 'DON'T STRESS.' If you need to add something during the course of the day. Than go ahead add it. It's your List!

Feeling Overwhelmed

Feeling Overwhelmed

Stop and take sometime to pray and meditate or just meditate to clear your mind. Even if it's just for 5 minute increments. Sometimes we feel overwhelmed, because we have too much on our plate. If this is the case we need to evaluate our priorities. I know everything feels like a priority, however is it really? Can it be delegated or eliminated from our daily duty. Or placed on our next day 'To Do List." You will be surprised when you realize what you focus on molds who you truly become. Having a 'BALANCE' is key.

Think about it. What happens to your tasks when you are sick or not at your best. How do things get done?

This seems to be a very hard task for most. However, it can be very easy. It is a process, and most people don't have the patience for it.

Setting up your life to become intimately familiar with yourself will help you to learn what that purpose is.

Part of your purpose is to be here and serve. The other part... well we can discuss that.

What do you really want from your life? Do you have a vision for your life? Who do you say that you are?

Learn the reasons why many of your goals are not met.

Goal setting is a powerful process for turning your vision into reality. The process of setting goals allows you to choose what direction you want to go in life. Making your focus what you want to achieve lets you be aware of the distractions that can steer you off track.

Prioritizing

Prioritizing is just that. Putting something ahead of another that is more meaningful, important, or just needs to be done ASAP. However, in doing that you must DECIDE to take action steps in order to be successful at it. Also, getting organized can go a long way...

Saying "yes" to a project that you don't want to take on is like saying "no" to your priorities.

Affected by Alcoholism

Definition by Oxford Dictionaries: Alcoholism - "an addiction to the consumption of alcoholic liquor or the mental illness and compulsive behavior resulting from alcohol dependency."

I have seen and experienced from others what the affects of alcoholism does to people and their families. My Life Coach Sessions are for those that have been affected by someone with a drinking problem, and the alcoholic in recovery. I am not a therapist or mental health counselor, however sometimes you need someone to listen and speak to about your unique situation. Talking about the affects of alcohol starts the healing process. What I'm offering is to assist you on how to go forward with your life. This is in addition to you going to Al-Anon or AA group meetings, which you should consider going to. The meetings will give you the opportunity to learn from the experience of others who have faced similar problems. Let's talk about it...

Mourning a Loss

MOURNING A LOSS

When you lose someone you love, it is a tremendous on and off pain inside of you that penetrates your being and lifestyle in such an uncontrollable way. At some point, family and or friends may tell you to move on, however you're not agreeing with their terms of resolution. There are steps you can take to feel better during your transition from mourning to mentally feeling better, without forgetting your loved one.

First of all, you have to want to feel better. It's sometimes not about moving on, it's about moving through the pain of losing someone you love. Together we can visit you making a decision to take control of your life through using a variety of tools suited just for you. Hurt is not a sign of weakness. It is a sign that you are alive and capable of loving. Taking small steps each day to recover. You can do it!

Preparing for a wedding can be the best time of your life. However, in making your blissful plans you need someone to talk to. Someone to run your plans by. Or, maybe you're not sure if you should make that step. You need someone that is objective to your situation to ask you the right questions, so that you can determine how to be clear on the future decisions you're about to make. It's ok to want to know what your options are. You can trust yourself to make your own decisions!

In planning your wedding you don't have anyone that can guide you through it. Sometimes you may find those you love or others will be difficult to deal with. Remember it's your Wedding.

Life after divorce is such a powerful force on people's lives, depending on each individual's situation. The one thing in common is that you need a plan.
